I've managed to grab all the free avatars I can find off the intar-webs for Starcraft & Starcraft 2 (which includes some unit renders)

If it looks like there are repeated files, it's usually that there is more than one size. There probably are repeats here and there.

IMHO the SC ones are actually better due to being animated etc. The animated unit pic thingys are pretty cool in SC2... just gotta wait for someone to turn them into gifs I guess!
